I taught the Go & Tell Evangelism Workshop and spoke last week at the Brown City Family Camp with the Michigan Missionary Church. I was blessed to meet Dale Rinke, the Regional Director of the Michigan Region of the Missionary Church. After our time together at Brown City Camp, he shared this testimony about Go & Tell Ministries.

I was blessed to be invited by my good friend, Pastor John Moser, from The Ridge Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to host a Go & Tell Ministry weekend. I was able to teach the Go & Tell Evangelism Workshop on Saturday and preach at the church on Sunday morning worship service. Happy 42nd Anniversary to my beautiful bride of my youth! The best thing about my marriage to Kristi is not only that she has made me very happy BUT that she has helped me become holy-set apart to live for the Glory of Christ. Ecclesiastes 9:9a “Enjoy life with your wife, whom you love.” Praising God for bringing us together and to be able to serve Him!

2 Chronicles 22:9 (NIV)9  He then went in search of Ahaziah, and his men captured him while he was hiding in Samaria. He was brought to Jehu and put to death. They buried him, for they said, “He was a son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart.” So there was no one in the house of Ahaziah powerful enough to retain the kingdom.

2 Chronicles 12:13-14 (NIV)13  King Rehoboam established himself firmly in Jerusalem and continued as king. He was forty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city the LORD had chosen out of all the tribes of Israel in which to put his Name. His mother’s name was Naamah; she was an Ammonite.14  He did evil because he had not set his heart on seeking the LORD.

I attended the Great Lakes District C&MA Conference in Toledo, Ohio. Before that, I taught the Go & Tell Evangelism Workshop at Perrysburg Alliance Church. The host, Pastor Brian, shared this testimonial with us.

Who discipled you?

In the forward on the Great Commission Study participant and facilitator book, I wrote a thank you note to Pastor Dave….”The pastor who discipled me.” I spent the night with Dave at his home in South Carolina, and we visited over pizza on National Pizza Day! That seemed appropriate since I developed a great love for pizza while I was a student at Indiana University and attended his church (Evangelical Community Church, Bloomington, Indiana). My Great Commission Study video series has seven videos (each 20-25 minutes) and a Facilitator and Participant book. This video series has Pastor Dave’s fingerprint throughout the materials. I am so grateful to have sat under his leadership and to count him as one of my best friends. I asked Dave to share some wisdom for those seeking to follow Jesus. Please watch his comments at:
