Resurrection Sunday! 1 Corinthians 15:54-57 “ 1 Corinthians 15:54-58 (NIV)54  When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”55  “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”56  The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.57  But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.58  Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

New Disciples Making Disciples Workshop

The Disciples Making Disciples book is designed for a disciple to disciple another follower of Jesus. It is full of short stories about walking with Jesus and Bible studies for studying with other believers. I recently taught the 3-hour Disciples Making Disciples Workshop to equip believers to disciple others to Delight in God, Declare the gospel, and disciple others. Pastor Jim partnered with New Friendship Church and their Pastor, Marvin Nash when he was the pastor of Sunrise Community Church. New Friendship Church is a supporting church for Go & Tell Ministries. We shared an exceptional service when Pastor Jim was on a ministry tour in Florida. Ray shared a special song for Pastor Jim and the church as they hosted a Go & Tell Ministries event.

Matthew 13:44-46 (NIV)44  “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.45  “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls.46  When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it. Luke 9:23-25 (NIV)23  Then he said to them all: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.24  For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.25  What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self?

Exodus 33:12-17 (NIV)12  Moses said to the LORD, “You have been telling me, ‘Lead these people,’ but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. You have said, ‘I know you by name and you have found favor with me.’13  If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people.”14  The LORD replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”15  Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.16  How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?”17  And the LORD said to Moses, “I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name.”
