It has been said that 80% of Christians have never shared the gospel with another person. If that is true, what is the percentage of Christians who have never discipled another believer-95% or more? I have been so blessed in my walk with Jesus Christ to have several mature disciples come alongside me and disciple me to love Jesus, share the gospel, and disciple others. I am eternally grateful for those men who have discipled me and helped me follow Jesus: Roger Kodat, Dave Faris, Jim Cheshire, and many others.
The Disciples Making Disciples book and the DMD Course offer a unique personal journey. They are not just about deepening your relationship with Jesus Christ, but also about equipping you with the tools to disciple a new believer. By immersing yourself in the book’s personal stories and Bible studies, you will grow as a disciple of Jesus and empower others to do the same.
The DMD Course is the result of a successful partnership between Go & Tell Ministries and the Geneseo Evangelical Free Church family. Pastor Ryan, who serves as Pastor of Evangelism and Discipleship at Geneseo Evangelical Free Church in Geneseo, Illinois, has co-written the Lesson Plan and PowerPoint for the DMD Course. His church was the trial group, and their overwhelmingly positive response to the course is a testament to its effectiveness.
The Disciples Making Disciples Course includes:
- Lesson Plan (10 weeks) PDF
- PowerPoint Slides
- Evangelism Temperature PDF
- Inductive Bible Study Sheet PDF

After you have taught the DMD Course, we ask that you share your stories of salvations and discipleship of other believers with us @ Tell Us Your Story | Go + Tell Ministries (goandtellministries.org)
